Pauline Viardot’s Mazurke (and how I’m stepping up my work and thinking about it), and a fun project I got to work on this weekend.

Your Podcast 135 has given me some of the lightest happiest moments of this month. For example, when you were playing the Intro music and Exit music which you composed, it was hard to stay in my seat. I wanted to bounce and then to leap up to dance. After your fascinating practice session with the poignant story about Viardot, Jocelyn, at the close of your Podcast, your collaboration with Ben was heart-melting! He is so talented and the two of you together are a treat for the ears and the heart!!
I never thought about a Mazurka this much; so beautiful when interpreted this deeply. I feel like this has taken me beyond thinking of Waltzes as Cosine and Mazurkas as Sine. Off to catch up on the rest of this years episodes!
