Thanks for the recommendation of the book The Art of Practicing. I hadn’t heard of it before and as an amateur pianist who hasn’t had a legit lesson in many years, it may be a great resource. As is listening to your podcast. Thank you so much for inspiring me to practice more each time I hear you.

Please do more podcasts. I’m a composer in Seattle. I grew up in Los Alamos/ White Rock New Mexico. I was happy to read that you to are from the land of enchantment! Anyway I am currently studying composition with Janie Giteck. She retired from Cornish College of the Art’s of decades of teaching there. I love learning from her. In my constant quest for music I came across your video on how to memorize music when you practice. Thank you for that. It reminded me of what I do…only you sparked a whole new way for me to practice. I would and will write more in the future. Even maybe…send you a piece I am composing. Know that you have musician fans out here who really appreciate your sharing. Even with mistakes.
